I've decided to make some changes here in my blog just for this holiday season..well first, I made a digital layout for my blog header... using Sentimental Style "Night Before Christmas Kit". I love the way other blogger done theirs. So artistic! Then, some more few touches here and there... Walla! It's a Christmas blog for now. LOL :-D

Santa's new day job??

It's another weekend once again and it's time to visit my in-laws at Sampaloc, Manila. Before going to their home we decided to pass by at Jollibee first, to get some take outs. While driving through.. I've noticed their Christmas decorations. They've put different statues of Santa Claus. Like as if Santa's propelling down from a lightpost.. One standing at the entry way of the diner as if welcoming the customer. Well... this one really caught my attention...

cute huh? I guess since life is really getting a bit tough right now.. All of us need to earn some extra bucks for the upcoming holiday season... Santa ain't no exceptions. LOL! :-D

A trip at Suki and Dapitan Market

Here are my good finds last sunday when I went to Suki and Dapitan Market, two of my favorite merchants place at Blumentrit. They have so many stuff now... I have to go back when we visited my in-laws once again.


love this angel... I love the detailing and would you believe... it only cost 180.00 php only. Now, it's above my desk at work. I call it... "The Angel of LOve" hehehe

I bought three of this food cover for my mom... and they only cost 3 for 100.00... what a deal huh..

and of course I didn't forget to buy some california maki for myself... which this place is also known for... love this so much and it only cost 60.00 php a pack... yum!!! :-)

Toy Scooter

The Toy Kingdom had a 3 day sale at the Megatrade Hall of SM Megamall. My hubby and I checked whats on sale, since it's the last day of the discount sale. Guess what.. the 14,000 php toy scooter is on sale for 6,200 php. Whoah, what a great deal! So my hubby never dilly-dally anymore... he took out his credit card and bought it immediately. We were supposed to hid it from Jd until Christmas... hehehe. But to no avail... Jd saw it and kept on insisting on opening the big box. Well my Mom told us to open it since it's Jd's gift anyway, she said. Sigh! Oh well... Jd was so excited and he test drive it immediately. Hmm.. now I knew what my hubby and I forgot.. we forgot to get some safety gear. (worried) Anyway, I took some pictures while his test driving the scooter and made a digital layout of it using the Blue Earth Kit and Alpha designs by Vicki :-)

A co-worker of mine had shown me his Friendster blog.. he has so many photos of himself using Photofunia.. and they're all uniquely done. He gave me the link and I tried several Photofunia's templates.. Here are some of my choices. :-)

My Dad's 84th Birthday

Another year had passed.. and it's my dad's birthday once again. This year instead of doing the celebration on a fancy restaurant. We've all decided to do it at home.. well it's much cheaper that way... hehehe. All my dad's sibling's and even some of his cousins came to celebrate with us. The food were great. What so funny is, one of my niece "Rina" took pictures of all the yummy food on the buffet table. I really love the chocolate cake especially... brought by my dad's cousin from alabang. Yum! Anyway here are some pictures taken from the birthday celebration. :-)

Soooooo pretty...

The image of Our Lady of Manaoag of Pangasinan visited us at our Barangay.. Everyone at the Barangay Hall were busy setting things up. Because, there will be a 10 days Vigil that will be held at Barangay Covered Court. Barangay Employees will take turns on the vigil. When it was the Medical Department turn.. I couldn't help admiring the flowers arrangement that was given by one of the former Barangay Chairman.. their company export and even arrange this amazing flowers. These flowers are quite pricey if you buy them from local flower shops. Well, I took pictures of course... the last shot was a bit blurry though hehehe. We'll here they are :-)

A Surprised Visit...

After a very hectic holiday and left and right family gatherings. We've thought it'll be more quieter this day. So we've decided to spent some time at the mall just to unwind. But not knowing a big surprise awaits us back at home. My dad's first cousin and his whole family from Laguna paid us a surprised visit. It's been ages since my dad and Uncle Romy seen each other. It has been a treat seeing and meeting other relatives now that we've grown up and having family of our own. =)

It's now 2008
